About Right Where I Left It

Cole Swindell is giving fans a taste of his hometown of Bronwood, Ga., in his new music video for "Right Where I Left It." In the clip, directed by Michael Monaco, the singer shows off his roots by visiting some of his favorite spots and reuniting with friends and neighbors. "I’ve always been so proud of growing up in Bronwood, Ga.," Swindell says in a press release. "I left Bronwood to go to college, and then left Georgia altogether to chase this dream of becoming a songwriter and an artist and travel the world. I feel so blessed to have been able to do and accomplish all I have, but it didn’t take long for me to realize none of it would have been possible if it weren’t for where I grew up, the way I grew up and the people I grew up with." Swindell wrote "Right Where I Left It," dedicated to the city of Bronwood, with frequent collaborators Cole Taylor and Michael Carter. The new track comes off of Swindell's latest release, the Down Home Sessions V EP. That project is the fifth installation in the Down Home Sessions EP series, which Swindell has been releasing annually since signing with Warner Music Nashville in 2014. "I didn’t get to include everyone, but there are so many people in this video that have been influential in my life, and I don’t think I would be here without all of them," Swindell adds. "I hope folks can relate it to where they are from and always know you can go home." Swindell recently finished touring with Luke Bryan, as part of Bryan's 2019 Farm Tour, and will be performing on select Sunset Repeat Tour dates through October. He'll then play a number of headline shows all over the country through the end of the year.
