About Savage Remix (feat. Beyoncé)

On the remix to Megan Thee Stallion’s hot single “Savage,” Meg teams up with fellow Houston native Beyoncé for the first time. The two first met at a New Year’s Eve party in December 2019:

On the track, Megan spits an entirely new verse, while Beyoncé name-drops various staples of the 2020 zeitgeist, referencing everything from the phrase “Demon Time” to TikTok and OnlyFans. It features two of them trading bars with additional backing vocals by Beyoncé.

Each artist’s share of proceeds will go to benefit The Bread Of Life COVID-19 relief efforts in Houston. In response to the remix, Houston’s mayor, Sylvester Turner, made a commitment to give both Meg and Bey their own respective honorific “days”
